The principle of PVD gold plating is to form a metal film on the surface of the substrate by ion bombardment and metal ion deposition in a vacuum environment through physical vapor deposition (PVD) technology. The specific process is as follows:
1. Vacuum environment: Under vacuum conditions, the metal target (such as pure gold target) is placed in a vacuum chamber to prevent oxidation and other impurities.
2. Ion bombardment: By applying high voltage and magnetic field, ions are accelerated and hit the metal target in a vacuum environment. These ions will knock out atoms on the surface of the metal target to form metal ions.
3. Deposition: These metal ions are deposited on the surface of the substrate in a vacuum to form a uniform and dense metal film.
