Physical Vapor Deposition: Vacuum deposition methods which can be used to deposit thin films and coatings. 

 [ARC ion coating] 
The multi-arc ion plating machine uses arc discharge to evaporate the cathode material, and the evaporated material forms positive ions. Under the action of a strong electric field, electrons overflow into the vacuum in the form of field electron emission. The positive ions are attracted to the cathode surface to form a space charge layer, thereby enhancing the performance of the film layer.

[DC magnetron sputtering] 
DC magnetron sputtering coating technology is a process that uses ions to bombard metal targets in a vacuum environment, causing atoms on the target surface to escape and deposit on the surface of the substrate.
Specifically, its process includes:
1. Vacuum system exhaust and vacuum degree control.
2. Target surface cleaning and pretreatment to remove surface pollutants and oxides.
3. Gas addition and control, such as auxiliary oxygen, nitrogen, etc., to adjust the structure and properties of the film.
4. Through direct contact between the target and the cathode, under the action of the electric field, the surface of the metal target is bombarded with ionized gas (such as argon), so that metal atoms escape and are deposited on the surface of the substrate to form a thin film.
Metal films can be manufactured: such as iron, copper, aluminum, titanium, etc. Metal films have good electrical conductivity, optical properties and mechanical properties, and are widely used in microelectronics, coatings, optics and other fields.
